Dry Fig

Figs are a fruit that typically grows in warm climate regions and can be found in areas like the Mediterranean, the Middle East, South America, and South Asia. Fig trees thrive in sunny and well-drained soil. To dry figs, first, wash fresh figs thoroughly with clean water and remove their stems by cutting them off. Then, slice the figs into thin pieces and spread them on a tray or wire rack. Place them in an open area under the sun for about 3-4 days, turning them regularly to ensure even drying. As they dry in the sun, the figs will lose their softness and elasticity, transforming into dried figs. Once dried completely, store the figs in an airtight container for long-term use.
