"Peach (Prunus persica) is a native deciduous tree primarily domesticated and cultivated in the Northwest China region, between the northern slopes of the Kunlun Mountains and the Tarim Basin. It is known for its edible juicy fruits with various characteristics, including the commonly called 'peach' and the bright-skinned variety known as 'nectarine.' Some varieties of peaches are exceptionally juicy and sweet."
